Portrait of a hero.
Meet Mako, the star of Maori on Mars.
FOR OVER 200 YEARS, a Maori tribe has been fighting a brutal war on Mars. In 1796, the Nga Maia tribe was abducted from New Zealand by aliens and taken back across time and space to the Red Planet, 65 million years ago. When it still had breathable air and loch sized remnants of fresh water seas, still surrounded by fantastic jungle, way down at the bottom of the deep chasms that fracture the arid, meteor bombarded surface.
But it wasn't too long after they arrived on Mars that the tribe escaped from slavery en masse and now, more than two centuries later, they’re still kicking alien butt at every opportunity, from a secret, high-tech underground air base called Rarohenga, which is hidden in the greatest canyon in the solar system.
Twenty-three years old, Mako O Te Rangi is a seventh generation Maori Martian and next in line to be UPOKO ARIKI (Paramount Chief) of the Nga Maia tribe on Mars.

Kia ora,
I really like how you have designed Mako as a futuristic Maori.
I would be relly keen to talk about futuristic maori characters for my website.
